The meteorological alerts screen is divided into three different maps, as described below:
6.2.1 – Alertas de temperatura
The temperature alerts map (Nº1) informs us about the temperature for the next hour, according to the different colors on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.2.1A below shows how the temperature alert map is presented on the platform.

The different colors on the map can be compared to the legend located in the lower left corner of the screen (Nº3). The legend features five different colors with their respective meanings. Dark blue represents extremely cold regions, light blue represents unusual cold, white represents normal temperatures, yellow represents unusual heat, and red indicates extremely hot regions. The time selector bar (Nº4) shows different maps for various days and times according to the user’s needs. If zoom adjustment is required, the user can click on the Zoom bar (Nº5) to adjust the map for better visibility.
6.2.2 – Rain and Wind Alerts
The rain and wind alerts map (Nº1) informs us about the risk of rain and wind for the next hour, according to the different colors on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.2.2A below shows how the rain and wind alert map is presented on the platform.

As diferentes cores no mapa podem ser comparadas à legenda localizada no canto inferior esquerdo da tela (Nº3) . A legenda apresenta seis cores diferentes com seus respectivos significados. Amarelo representa risco moderado de vento, laranja representa risco alto de vento, vermelho representa risco severo de vento, azul claro representa risco moderado de precipitação, roxo claro representa risco alto de precipitação e roxo escuro representa risco severo de precipitação. A barra seletora de tempo (Nº4) mostra mapas diferentes para vários dias conforme o usuário clica nas diferentes opções de data. Se for necessário ajuste de zoom, o usuário pode clicar na barra de Zoom (Nº5) para ajustar o mapa para melhor visibilidade.
6.2.3 – INMET Alerts
O mapa interativo mostra os avisos específicos para as áreas vizinhas. Clicar em cada aviso abrirá uma pequena caixa de informações na qual a descrição do aviso pode ser encontrada. O sombreamento exibe a gravidade do aviso.
The INMET alerts map (Nº1) informs us about the risks of natural events such as wildfires, strong winds, earthquakes, and low humidity in the coming hours, according to the different colors and representations on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.2.3A below shows how the INMET alert map is presented on the platform.

The different colors on the map each indicate different information. To know the meaning of each alert on the map, simply hover the mouse over it, and a box will appear explaining the alert’s meaning. The time selector bar (Nº3) will show the different forecast intervals for INMET alerts. If zoom adjustment is needed, the user can click on the Zoom bar (Nº4) to adjust the map for better visibility.
