The weather alerts screen is divided into three different maps, as described below:
6.2.1 – Temperature Alerts
6.2.2 – Rain and Wind Alerts
6.2.3 – INMET Alerts
Details for each of these maps are provided below:
6.2.1 – Temperature Alerts
The temperature alerts map (Nº1) shows the predicted temperature for the next hour, using different colors on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.2.1A below illustrates how the temperature alerts map is presented on the platform.

The different colors on the map can be compared to the legend located in the bottom left corner of the screen (Nº3). The legend includes five different colors with their respective meanings: dark blue represents extremely cold regions, light blue indicates unusual cold, white indicates normal temperatures, yellow represents unusual heat, and red signifies extremely hot regions. The time selector bar (Nº4) allows users to view different maps for different days and times according to their needs. If the user needs to adjust the zoom, they can click on the Zoom bar (Nº5) to adjust the map to their preferred view.
6.2.2 – Rain and Wind Alerts
The rain and wind alerts map (Nº1) informs users of the risks of rain and wind in the next hour, based on different colors on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.2.2A below shows how the rain and wind alerts map is presented on the platform.

The different colors on the map can be compared to the legend located in the bottom left corner of the screen (Nº3). The legend includes six different colors with their respective meanings: yellow represents a risk of moderate winds, orange indicates a risk of high winds, red signifies a risk of severe winds, light blue indicates a risk of moderate precipitation, light purple represents a risk of high precipitation, and dark purple indicates a risk of severe precipitation. The time selector bar (Nº4) allows users to view different maps for different days by clicking on the various date options. If the user needs to adjust the zoom, they can click on the Zoom bar (Nº5) to adjust the map to their preferred view.
6.2.3 – INMET Alerts
The INMET alerts map (Nº1) informs users of the risks of natural events such as wildfires, strong winds, earthquakes, and low humidity in the coming hours, based on different colors and representations on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.2.3A below shows how the INMET alerts map is presented on the platform.

The different colors on the map each convey different information. To understand the meaning of each alert on the map, simply hover the mouse over it, and a box will appear explaining the alert. The time selector bar (Nº3) displays the different time intervals for INMET alert predictions. If the user needs to adjust the zoom, they can click on the Zoom bar (Nº4) to adjust the map to their preferred view.
