Official Measurements

The Official Measurements screen is divided into 2 different maps, as described below:

6.13.1 – Recorded Temperature

6.13.2 – Recorded Precipitation

Below, we will discuss each of the maps in detail.

6.13.1 – Recorded Temperature

This map shows the temperature values transmitted directly from the measurement stations.

The Recorded Temperature map (Nº1) illustrates the different temperatures using different markings on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.13.1A below shows how the Recorded Temperature map is presented on the platform.

If the user prefers, the map values can be compared to the legend (Nº3), which is located in the left corner of the screen. The time selector bar (Nº4) will show the different available dates for checking forecasts for the selected region. If the user needs to adjust the image zoom on the screen, they can use the preset Zoom options bar (Nº5), which is located in the upper right corner of the screen.

6.13.2 – Recorded Precipitation

This map shows the hourly precipitation values in millimeters (mm) transmitted directly from the measurement stations.

The Recorded Precipitation map (Nº1) illustrates the different recorded precipitation values using small circles on the map (Nº2). Figure 6.13.2A below shows how the Recorded Precipitation map is presented on the platform.
