To review or adjust our monitoring points, there are three buttons within the area and points settings screen, where we can display all monitoring points, edit them, and add new points if necessary. Figure 7.1.2A illustrates where you can find the monitoring point buttons, marked with a red rectangle below:

When you click on the “Show Monitoring Point” button (Nº 1), all the registered monitoring points within the property will be displayed on the screen, and for each registered point, the following information will be provided: Area name, type of monitoring point, state (UF), and coordinates. Upon displaying all the monitoring points and clicking on the edit point button (Nº 2), the selected point will open a line at the top of the page, as illustrated in Figure 7.1.2B below.

The editing line for a point will be highlighted by a gray color around the point’s editing fields, as shown in Figure 7.1.2B above. The first editing field (Nº1) is the area field, the second field is the identification of the field being edited (Nº2), the third field allows editing of the type of monitoring point (Nº3), which can be a primary or secondary physical station. The next button is the main point enablement button (Nº 4), which allows you to designate the primary station of the property, and you can only select one point as the main station. Then, the coordinates (Nº5) of the edited point are displayed. If all the modifications are correct, you should click the save button. If the user wishes to disable the display of the monitoring point on the “My Network” screen map, they must uncheck the button (Nº7), and the monitoring point will not be displayed until the button is re-enabled.
If the user wants to register a new monitoring point, they should click on the “Register Monitoring Points” button (Nº4) illustrated in Figure 7.1.2A. Upon clicking the “Register Monitoring Points” button, a new screen will appear, as shown in Figure 7.1.2C below.

After filling out and marking all the necessary fields, click the “Register” button to complete the process of registering a new monitoring point. If you wish to cancel the entire process, click the “Exit” button.
